What We Do？
Driven by a passion to preserve the dark night sky, we organize public welfare programs, educational lectures, and joint campaigns with official and non-governmental organizations to raise awareness about light pollution.

Educational Outreach
On August 28, 2026, we held an outreach event at the Guangming Community Service Center, using an entertaining and engaging approach to show junior high school students the beauty of a starry night sky.

On April 20, 2026, we hosted a presentation at Longhua Experimental School to educate middle school students about the environmental and health impacts of light pollution.

Public Awareness Survey
To understand public familiarity with light pollution and dark-sky conservation, we conducted a survey of 205 individuals, primarily in Guangdong Province, China.
1. Limited Awareness:
While 84% of respondents believe organizations should act to reduce light pollution, 91% are unfamiliar with concepts like the International Dark Sky Community.
2. Recognized Severity:
Participants rated the severity of light pollution in Chinese cities, particularly in Guangdong, at an average of 63 out of 100. However, only half expressed willingness to actively participate in reduction efforts.
3.Understanding vs. Action:
About 43% of participants are familiar with light pollution, but only 5% consider it a priority issue.
4. Observation Interest:
Stargazing remains a niche interest, with only 17.5% of respondents expressing a preference for such activities.
