Shenzhen's Xichong named first International Dark Sky Community in China.mp4

Organizational mission

“Light is evading the night sky and the Milky Way is disappearing from our sight; to fight for our familiar darkness,  actions and educations are necessary!”

Project initiator

Abby

“I am the initiator of this organization and website, aiming to raise people’s awareness on light pollution and persuade them to participate in dar-sky actions. I believe that small actions can add up to make great contribution in reshaping the dark night environment locally and even globally. Therefore, with genuine hope to help restore natural and ideal sites for star observation for current society and future generation, I decide to establish this website, organizing some public activities.
